General descriptionBiologically inert mixtures of cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate have made MF-Millipore membrane filters one of the most widely used membranes in analytical and research applications.Millipore MF-Millipore Black Membrane Filter 0.45 m, 47 mm Diameter, HABG04700 is a hydrophilic, black, gridded membrane filter manufactured from mixed cellulose esters (MCE). The membrane has a 0.45 m pore size and 47 mm diameter, making it suitable for laboratory membrane filtration, microbiological testing, biological monitoring and environmental monitoring applications.

The black gridded surface provides convenient visual identification and counting of retained microorganisms or particles. The membrane has a thickness of approximately 150 m, 79% porosity, a water flow rate of approximately 60 mL/min/cm and a bubble point of 2.2 bar at 23C with air and water. It is supplied in a pack of 100 circular membrane discs and is designed for professional laboratory and analytical applications.
